frost damaged plants

To clip or not to clip, that is the question.  After the freezing and frosty temps we endured in Florida the last couple months, much of the landscape plants have brown, crispy, frost bit leaves and or stems.  I have always said leave it there until mid-March (for Eastern Lee County) just in case there are more frosty mornings.  At this point that would mean: do as I do and not as I say.  We’ve started cutting dead vegetation off the palms and shrubs, it’s so sad to see them looking dead.  If there is more frost we’ll be sorry, if there isn’t hallelujah!

I am praying for no more frost myself! I couldn’t stop myself from pruning a little early either. Love your website!
